The semifinal and final of the third edition of the Christmas Contest 2023 took place at the Teatro Titano in the Republic of San Marino. The competition was promoted by the Pontifical Foundation Gravissimum Educationis. The evening was hosted by Giulia Sol and Giò Di Tonno.

A jury composed of Roberto Cenci, Adriano Pennino, Silvia Notargiacomo, Dario Salvatori, Paolo Rondelli, and Giorgiana Cristalli listened to the 16 semi-finalist songs first and then the 8 finalist songs, which were performed live during the final by Gynevra, Noemi Cainero, Enrique Spacca - Claudio Cirillo - Carlo Luigi Gorio, Antoine Ruiz, Carboidrati, The Angels, Francesco Tiberi, and David Vanchieri. The three winners will perform, along with international artists, on the stage of the Concerto di Natale (31st edition), which will take place at the Auditorium della Conciliazione on Saturday, December 16, 2023.

The compilation supports the educational project "Il bene fa notizia!" (Good makes headlines!), promoted by the Pontifical Foundation Gravissimum Educationis. The project involves journalism students selected from Catholic universities in India and the Philippines, engaged in training activities and internships in Rome. Like the Contest, the "Il bene fa notizia!" project aims to make young people protagonists of responsible and benevolent communication.
